Egypt is not considered a European country. It is located in northeastern Africa, bordering the Mediterranean Sea in the north and the Red Sea in the east. While it does have a small portion of its territory in Asia (Sinai Peninsula), the majority of its landmass is on the African continent. Additionally, Egypt has its own distinct culture, language, and history that is different from that of European countries.
